The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, thinks that Albania has a good chance to increase the number of tourists, due to the resources that have not been exploited yet.
According to Rama, Albania has been doubling the number of foreign visitors and revenues from tourism.
Rama told foreign tourist operators that Albania’s ambition is to reach 10 million tourists a year.
“In the past 5 years we increased their number from 3.6 million to 6 million. From 1 billion EUR of revenues, to 2 billion EUR. 30,000 citizens were employed during the season”, Rama said.
