The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, started his message to the USA
for the loss of “a great and good friend of the USA, Hillary Clinton”.
The people of America made their choice today. A great friend of Albania, Kosovo and all Albanians, Hillary Clinton could not become the first Woman President of the USA. Her opponent, Donald Trump, was elected as the 45-th President of the USA, after convincing the sovereign people to vote his alternative after an unusual debate within the USA”, Rama said.
PM Rama says he is convinced that the relations between Albania and the USA not only will not be damaged, but will also get better.
“Wishing President Trump good luck for his victory, I am convinced that our strategic relation with the USA will get better, in service of our joint interests which make Albania a precious ally of the US government”, Rama concludes.
