Rama: “Solving farmers property titles issue”

The Albanian PM, Edi Rama, told Kelcyra farmers that the State Guarantee
Fund will be a good move, since farmers were not allowed until today to
take loans without having a property title on the land, which would
serve as collateral. Now the state will guarantee to the Banks,
something that, according to PM Rama, the previous government did not
do.
“They did not do the most basic thing, implementing the law of 1991, 7501, to give every family the land they were entitled to and become final owners of it. We have started a process for distributing property titles and we will push it forward”, Rama declared.
Rama said farmers should organize together, from the planting of the product to its sale.
“We cannot continue with the same story, in which each farmer has a small portion of land and plants it on his own, resulting with a higher final cost that doesn’t leave him enough profit. We need to sell the entire product together. Working in harmony and selling it together. That is a success”, Rama said.
According to the PM, the Socialist government has given the biggest fund for cleaning water drainage and for building new ones.
