“The government will have an aggressive policy for road construction agreements, to leave no room for speculation”, declared PM Rama in the government meeting for the infrastructure budget.
Rama said that supervisors and officials who cause damage to the state budget are being penalized, as he criticized the Road Directory for their management.
The $1 billion project, according to Rama, is dedicated to modernization and transformation of national roads.
“No road in Albania is certified for European standards”, Rama said, and added that the government will work with the bypasses of Tepelena, Fier, Vlora, the Arber Road, the Korce-Erseka road, etc.
