Top Channel has learned that the Prime Minister’s office has invited all the newly elected Mayors of June 21st, in a meeting at his office. This invitation has found many of the newly elected from the opposition unprepared, since Basha had declared during the campaign that Rama would not cooperate with the candidates of the right coalition.

While Rama, during the campaign, reiterated the story of a Mayor from the opposition who had sent an SMS to meet him, and had informed him that he was afraid to meet him at his office. This meeting will make both parties face the truth as regards their obligations to the voters and their legal-institutional relations.

It is still unclear if the news has arrived at the Democratic Party headquarters, and what will be their orientation for the newly elected Mayors. Rama’s laid hand to the candidates who beat his coalition, is the first step of implementation for the administrative-territorial reform. It would be something new in the long history of conflicts if it would start with a handshake.
