24 hours after the voting of the territorial reform, in which the votes
of the PJIU were decisive, Prime Minister Edi Rama declared that this
reform passed with votes from the opposition.

“The Democratic Party doesn’t have the monopoly of the opposition. The representatives of the second biggest opposition party joined the Parliament session yesterday, and I want to thank them for the constructive approach”, the Prime Minister added, referring to the PJIU.

While it is still unknown what Vangjel Dule will do as ally of the coalition, after being against this territorial reform, Rama insisted that the passing of this reform is a good example for the other countries of the region as regards guaranteeing the rights of minorities.

“Albania gives an excellent example to all neighbors with this reform, and as an European country in Europe, it guarantees the minorities with a very generous perspective with a special treatment for minorities”, Rama declared.

Rama expressed the determination of the government coalition for realizing the juduciary reform during the next parliamentary session.
