The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, presented the candidate of the
Socialist Party for the Municipality of Belsh, Arif Tafani, and said
that the Democratic Party comes in Parliament for words and not for
work.
“Where do they think they will find people so gullible in such a shameful campaign? Because it is shameful to tell citizens in a local election campaign to follow the Mayor of Tirana and they will have electricity for free. Who will give them the electricity for free? The Doctor? How? With a stethoscope? Everything one day after the election? No taxes? And everyone will take whatever they want? Not even Sude (former Ponzi scheme company) would have not led such a ridiculous electoral campaign”, Rama declared.
As for the big problem in Belsh, the sale of the huge quantities of tobacco they produce, Rama promised a solution:
“Edmond Panariti, a close friend and Minister of AGriculture, will have my support to resolve once and for all the tobacco cancer, so that the hard-working people of this area, who are being withheld by some companies that have done what they wanted, will finally resolved this problem. We will establish clear conditions: the companies will gain what they are entitled do, but not by damaging the locals”, the Prime Minister promised.
In Kruja, the Albanian Prime Minister promised unification of the financial capacities of the new municipality, including illumination and urban requalification. These are some of the engagements of the left centered candidate in Kruja, Artur Bushi, described by the Prime Minister as the right manager for the Kruja citizens.
