The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, declared that the next project
for the police, after the “Digital Precinct” will be having a real time communication of police officers on terrain with their respective headquarters.
He said that returning the
public’s trust to the police is the most difficult task which the
government will tirelessly push forward.
Rama added that the current smart phone app with real time reports from citizens has prevented or punished many indecent behaviors.
The Minister of Interior, Saimir Tahiri, said that the “digital precinct” has been a success story since its creation.
Tahiri said that thanks to the reports made by the citizens, they have avoided a series of abuses and violations.
