Rama pleased with judicial reform: “No one above the Vetting Law”

The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, said that the Vetting Law has already started, leaving out of the system judges and prosecutors who cannot justify their wealth.
For the others who are about to be scrutinized by the Vetting Law, the Prime Minister that it will not end with this, just leaving the system.
“This is only the beginning. What we want to see realized through this process is to build a completely independent judiciary”, Rama said.
Today, the government started the accountability campaign, presenting the work done so far and mentioning as an achievement the positive recommendation for opening the EU accession negotiations.
