Prime Minister Edi Rama warned the new employees of the public
administration who were hired after a public competition that their
workplace is not safe if they abuse with their power.
Rama declared that there will be training and testing to prove if they deserve the job they earned through the competition.
The competition has been valued by Rama as a process for a transparent selection, based on modern standards.
“Our challenge is bigger than this, because through this legal structure, the law guarantees competition based on merit. But this must not turn into a blanket for public employees to cover when sleeping at work. This doesn’t mean that their job is safe. You must prove you’re worthy for that place through periodic tests”, Rama declared.
