Rama on Top Story: “Gramoz Ruci, Parliament Speaker of Albania”

The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, declared tonight on “Top Story”,
hosted by Sokol Balla, that Gramoz Ruci, Head of the Socialist Party
Parliamentary Group and the man who led the electoral campaign in the
Fier district, will be the next Parliament Speaker of Albania.
Rama said that he was 100% for this deicision, and now it is up to Ruci to accept it or not. “I hope he will not call me after the show and asks me why I didn’t ask him first”, PM Rama said.
As for the election of Ilir Meta as President, Rama said the Socialist Party will not boycott his ceremony, even after the attacks coming from him and from his party during the elections.
“Respecting of institutions comes first. This is a matter of state, not a matter about persons who conduct a disappointing behavior”, Rama said, adding that he had never questioned his presence at the oath ceremony.
