The Albanian Prime Minister showed nervousness today after the Parliament voted to not allow Tahiri’s arrest, and fater the opposition abandoned the room.
Rama showed this nervousness to journalists, when they asked him if it was up to the Court to decide if Tahiri needed to be arrested or not.
“Before making such out of place questions, try to read about what is the role of the Parliament, because these questions come from the lack of knowledge. It’s not the problem that you lack of the knowledge, because these things are outside your area of expertise, but you should read about this, because it is not rocket science. Your role is not to amplify gossip”, Rama said.
“I am not offending you, because you trash anyone you want, however you want, and you think that people don’t have the right to remind you that you are part of a this big problem that Albania has. You must start to read, you must start to understand. You here and the ones who pay you”, Rama said.
After a journalist asked if Rama was in favor of Constitutional amends for immunity of MPs, Rama answered: “This is an idiotic question, and my answer to this idiotic question is that we have our Constitution”.
After this, as never before, journalists decided to interrupt communication with Rama in this interview. Opposition leaders reacted immediately and said that Rama has lost his human and psychic balance.
“The aggressive attack against journalists, with banal speech, prove that the psychic problems of Edi Rama, when he is unable to hide the shocking truth even from himself. Now hostage of Saimir Tahiri, turned into a clown by criminals who dictate his decisions. The violence against journalists is violence against the entire society, which would end up in darkness and slavery without free speech”, the DP leader declared.
For Basha, the best answer to this violence is courage to tell the truth.
