The Albanian PM, Edi Rama, answered to the critics launched by his
government for concessions in the health department. Speaking from the
Parliament, Rama underlined that the situation in our hospitals today is
much more different than before.

“You can keep telling the tale of health concessions, but nobody will believe you. The truth is that citizens are feeling it, and it is very simple. They are receiving better quality services without paying. We will not lose time to convince those who want Albanians uninformed about this matter”, Rama said.

He made these declarations after Ben Blushi said in Parliament that our country is facing an economic poverty.

Rama quoted World Bank data which he says show a different story from what the opposition is claiming. “The economy of Albania has increased, according to the World Bank, and for this year it is expected to be at around 3.3% or 3.5%”, Rama said.

Still quoting WB Data, Rama said that fiscal revenues kept growing during 2015, dropping the public debt for the first time since the global crisis.

Rama said that the Albanian job market was recording a stable level with the highest drop of unemployment.
