Rama: “No toll fees for Arber road. Construction starts this year”

The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, commented the bid for the Arber Road.
Rama said that this is the first step for bringing to an end the delays that have lasted for several years, despite this is a very important segment.
“The Arber Road marks the start of our 1 billion EUR reconstruction project. This process has been delayed for years, and works will start within Autumn, as promised. Yesterday we opened the bids for the concession and maintenance of the Arber Road, with a value of 33.6 billion ALL. The bids will be collected until October 2nd and the commission will declare a winner within 60 days. Citizens will not pay any fee for passing vehicles”, Rama said.
