Rama: No monopoly on tobacco

During a conversation with the Tregan residents in Elbasan, the
Socialist Party leader, Edi Rama, appealed for a massive voting on the
June 23rd elections, so that the socialist vote can be safe.

“Even those who have voted Berisha before, now can vote the Socialist Party”, Rama added.

Rama met the Socialist Party supporters in Belsh, where he reported what he called a “ruining of Albanian roads”. The area of Dumre used to be the biggest
tobacco producer in our country, but now producion has almost halted due
to the unfair monopoly of one single company, according to Rama.

“A
dark cloud on this area is a monopoly on tobacco that we will destroy,
as we will do with every other monopoly in Albania, so that we can make
way to free competition and allow free people to become successful
businessmen through their talent, without being stopped by the
barricades of monopolies”, Rama declared.

“Today, after four years, these roads have more potholes and the entire area has more gloominess. The only good thing remaining is the spirit of the people. But there is no good change in here, only ruin, potholes and abandonment. This is the reality. The government says that they have built roads and Berisha says that they have spent a lot for building roads, and this is the reason to punish this government with your vote, because they have spent more money than building roads”, Rama declared.

The Socialist Party leader invited the local residents to vote the Socialist Party on the June 23rd elections, in order to start changing their life.
