The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, denied the voices of this summer for a possible storm within the ruling coalition.

“There are many people in the opposition of today who dream of such a storm. There are people even within the coalition who want this. For different reasons, but always because of personal discontent. Their dream cannot be realized because the coalition has worked very well with real reform,s and this is what makes it useful”, Rama declared.

As for the relations with the SMI, Rama added:

“I don’t know what one can expect more from a partnership which is reinforced with 1 million votes, same as two years ago. Between me and the co-leader of the coalition, the relations reflect both sides of the medal of co-existence in this coalition. This is a strategic partnership not only for our parties, but for Albania. Who wants a storm between the SP and SMI, between me and Ilir Meta, must have to wait more than this September”, Rama declared.

The comments for a possible coalition with the DP, Rama said are just gossip.
