The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, visited a manufacturing business in Durres with 430 employees.
This is one of the biggest clothing factories in the country that has now expanded its producing capacity.
Rama said that the next challenge should be the “Made in Albania” products, which, according to the Prime Minister, will increase salaries and revenues.
“The next step is move towards the Made in Albania models, with much more products. It has already started, especially with shoes.
But the Democratic Party sees it differently. The Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, announced on social networks that 1978 businesses were closed only this September, twice more, according to him, than one year ago. Basha saidn through a video-message that businesses are facing a difficult situation since the attention of the Prime Minister is on oligarchs, not on honest businessmen.
