The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, said from Selenica that the new
Parliament will unblock the Vetting Law. He said that the Democratic
Party leaders are tied to the crime, and that’s why they are protecting
the current system.
“Our four years in government were extremely difficult because we were forced to work in a country where justice is under the rule of corrupted judges and prosecutors, who are tied with the crime and who find refuge at the protest tent of the Democratic Party, together with those who fear justice. This is what has united them inside the bunker of shame. Rest assured that we will push them back once and for all after June 18th, and the new Parliament will continue to unblock it”, Rama said.
Rama said that it is sad to see the Democratic Party, which was born from the hope for an Albania like the rest of Europe, who now does everything possible to interrupt the aspirations of this people to have justice, and blocking the European path.
