Velipoja has a huge strategic role for the economic and tourist
development of Shkoder. As such, it will have the attention of the
government in some major infrastructure projects.

Prime Minister Edi Rama and the Parliament Speaker, Ilir Meta, were part of the conclusive meeting of the electoral campaign in Velipoja.

“We owe it to Shkoder and to the Shkoder citizens to explain them why it is important for Shkoder to elect Keti Bazhdari. With her will win not only the socialists, but also the democrats. I am talking about the democrats who are common citizens, not those who are part of a family”, Rama declared.

The Prime Minister said that for the first time in this tourist season, Velipoja will have running water 24/seven. He also mentioned the future infrastructure projects.

“We are reviewing the project of the road that will connect Shkoder with Velipoja. We are discussing with the government of Montenegro to reinforce the infrastructure between both sides of the border. We are determined to realize an urban, economic and social encouragement”, the Prime Minister declared.

The Socialist Movement for Integration leader, Ilir Meta, confirmed the infrastructure projects. After expressing his conviction for the victory of Keti Bazhdari, the Parliament Speaker said that Shkoder and the Shkoder citizens don’t need anymore the song “Rama-Meta are over”.

“Shkoder knows that Rama and Meta have not started yet. In four years, Shkoder will experience a huge transformation. With culture, calmness and love for Velipoje and Shkoder, let’s vote for Keti Bazhdari on June 21st”, Meta declared.
