The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, addressed to the Socialist
Parliamentary Group and declared that the main message coming from
Washington, during his official visit at the White House with President
Obama, was the realization of the Justice Reform.

“Our clear definition is that this reform is a test that proves the seriousness of our relations with the USA, because the USA strongly support the Albanian government and want the justice reform to not be hampered by anyone, for no reason”, Rama declared.

According to him, during the meeting with President Obama and his vice, Joe Biden, Rama received the support of the US Government for the justice reforms undertaken by the Albanian government.

“There is no doubt that the relations between Albania and the USA are stronger than ever. The meeting of this week confirmed the trust of our strategic partners in our reforms”, Rama said.

He underlined that a special evaluation from the US administration came after Albania’s efforts in the fight against terrorism and violent extremism. “The agreement signed with the FBI Director and the Interior Minister marks an important step in the path for consolidating the cooperation between our two countries and shows the consideration of the US Administration for the State Police.
