After London, the Socialist Party leader and future Prime Minister of
Albania, Edi Rama, attended a visit with the Italian Prime Minister
Enrico Letta and his cabinet members in Rome.
The visit in Rome started with a meeting with the Italian Foundation “Europei”, where were invited the two former Italian Prime Ministers, D’Alema and Amato. Rama declared on Facebook that they discussed about the technical support for realizing the left government program.
Then Rama was welcomed by Prime Minister Enrico Letta. “The dinner at the welcoming see of the Italian Prime Minister’s office with Prime Minister Letta enabled the start of a new cooperation chapter between our countries”, Rama declared.
The Socialist Party leader also met with the former Italian Prime Minister, Silvio Berlusconi, with whom he discussed about the economic crisis and the possibilities to increase the Italian investments in Albania.
“This day confirmed the mutual desire to reinforce the strategic partnership that connects our countries traditionally”, Rama declared.
