Rama meets Fule in Brussels

The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, arrived this Wednesday in
Brussels together with the Minister of Integration and the Foreign
Minister, Klajda Gjosha and Ditmir Bushati. The Albanian delegation was
received for a meeting with the Commissioner for Enlargement, Stefan
Fule.
A press release from Fule’s office says that the Commissioner stated that Albania has the capacities for facing the challenges that are lying ahead, mainly in the fight against crime and corruption.
Fule encouraged the Albanian delegation for a further intensification of the efforts for realizing the reforms, especially those of law implementation. On the other hand, he welcomed the government’s stance for a constructive approach to the opposition in order to realize the reforms through consensus.
The communication says that the Commissioner has asked an involvement of the civil society in implementing the criteria. He specified that the next Tirana-Brussels meeting will be held in June.
