The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, met with the FRESSH youth for the summer camp of the Socialist Party in Jala.
Rama said that the young members who are part of “FRESSCH Voice” have a chance to show themselves.
“The economic growth is a fact today. We took an economy that was stagnating around zero and this year we are going beyond 3%. Weare aware that even 3.5% or 4% is not something that people can feel in their daily budget. Raising salaries to 800 EUR just like that? This is impossible. We cannot do magic”, Rama said.
Rama said that the public-private partnership is an unchangeable instrument of the system that we have chosen.
“This means that private operators will invest where we cannot invest. If any of this partnerships will make tax-payers pay more for the same service, that would be criminal. But if the partnership may guarantee an investment that the government is unable to do, raising the service quality, then, this is necessary”, the PM said.
