The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, visited a private business in Kashar, where he encouraged companies to hire more people now that the income tax was cut from 15% to 5%.

The Prime Minister said that this move will liberate the business from informality and abusive declarations, which used to be done to avoid the 15% tax.

The Minister of Economy and Finances, Arben Ahmetaj, said that the company in question was one of the many created by returning Albanian immigrants and that it has had a positive growth each year.

The company owner promised that the 10% tax cut will be redistributed among workers, through salaries, and new technology.
