The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, met with his Bavarian
counterpart, Horst Seehofer, with whom he discussed about the issue of
asylum seekers.
Prime Minister Seehofer has declared that Albanians who seek asylum have almost zero chances, and the huge number is in nobody’s interest. The asylum, according to Seehofer, is about refugees coming from Syria, but not from Balkan.
After underlining the excellent relations between the two countries, Rama said that the cooperation potential is huge and the cooperation has already started with the professional education, since Albania has implemented the dual education system that is very important for both countries.
Prime Minister Seehofer thanked the Albanian Prime Minister for these excellent economic and political relations, and said that he is very curious to visit our country. He promised to do everything possible for Albania to have a perspective towards the EU.
