Rama meets Arvizu

The US Ambassador in Tirana, Alexander Arvizu, had a lunch with the
opposition leader for more than three hours, in a Tirana restaurant that
is near the residence of Prime Minister Sali Berisha.
Mr. Arvizu was accompanied by an official from the US Embassy.
After the lunch, Ambassador Arvizu refused to give any comment about the meeting. The opposition leader left 30 minutes after Arvizu, by also refusing to give any comments. This is the first meeting of Arvizu and Rama for 2012.
Rama left by simply saying that nothing goes past the journalists. The lunch was held outside the working hours, in a time when the key word of the Albanian politics is the election of the next President, which doesn’t seem to leave the international factor uninvolved.
