Rama: Justice must say its word

Socialist Leader Edi Rama declared that the opposition is determined to
continue the battle against the government that, according to him, stole
and deformed citizens’ free will.
“What Albanians saw at the Central Election Commission was an electoral cannibalism, which showed very clearly the infringement made to law and Constitution. The numbers are clear, and they show that during this process there have been manipulations”, Rama declared.
Rama asked Justice to do justice, and appealed Electoral College judges to rise above every other pressure and interest that is not higher than the national interest.
“The judges must act according the Constitution, the laws of this country and the moral of democracy”, Rama declared in a press release from the Socialist Party Headquarters.
Rama thanked the international community for their clear messages, who spoke clearly about the ugly events that took place in Albania after May 8th local elections.
