Rama: Judges, not politicians are the ‘heads’ of corruption! They gave crime a license

Prime Minister Edi Rama stated today that the “heads” of corruption are not the politicians but the judges, who according to him have given a license to the crime, after the latest judges’ dismissals from the new justice vetting bodies.

“This is the new justice”, Rama said, as he stressed that he is aware that the system has not yet been radically cleansed.

“I am neither a prosecutor nor a judge and I have neither the mandate to arrest nor to investigate. What we have a duty to do is the justice reform, which has brought about these blows to most corrupt caste, which is the corrupt elite of the judiciary, who have been bargaining for 30 years with the rights of the people, and have given the crime a license to do whatever he wants. Hitting this category was made possible by the Vetting process. I would have liked it to happen sooner, but the negotiation process is a marathon as is the process of state formation”, Rama stated.
