The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, spoke in Parliament today about
the Law of the Mining Sector, underlining that this will start the
division from the past.
Rama underlined that the mining industry has entered the right track, and the barbarian exploitation of natural assets has come to an end.
“Industry is turning on the track that guarantees progress. The figures realized by the chrome enrichment plant are very significative, together with the restart of the Klos plant, which had not been working for the past 20 years”.
Rama said that there is a new cooperation between the government and the private sector in this area.
“We are opening a new chapter. We are passing from slavery to creating the conditions for qualified workers. The government’s attention on these areas that have been used with barbarity makes us believe that we have started the right track”.
