Rama: Empty propaganda with roads

04/05/2013 00:00

The Socialist Party leader, Edi Rama, declared that the 10400 kilometers
of paved road that the Prime Minister claims as merit of his
government, are mere empty propaganda that can be verified without
leaving Tirana, the Albanian capital.

Rama visited the eastern exit road of Tirana, where the national road to the National Park of Dajti starts. He showed to the camers in this road that this government is leaving a country in a catastrophic grade, according to Rama.

“Berisha says that they have built 10400 kilometers of roads. The National road that connects the Capital with the National Dajti Park is in horrible conditions. Thousands of citizens use this road, even those who just want to visit the Dajti National Park”, Rama declared.

Rama added that the Dajti National Park road is a nightmare not only for the visitors of this beautiful natural site, but especially for the local residents. According to the opposition leader, this shows the lies of the government led by the Democratic Party and The Albanian Prime Minister, Sali Berisha.

“This is the most significant proof about the number of roads paid by the Albanian tax payers. This road and many others show the reality of Albania. For this reason, on the June 23rd elections, this government must make way for others”, Rama declared.
