Despite the remarks of the IMF, PM Rama said the government will not
back off the decision to remove tax on profit for small businesses with a
lower annual turnover than 50 million ALL. The new law will also reduce
taxes for businesses making 50 to 80 million ALL a year.
The Prime Minister said that removing taxes for the small business is a direct consequence of the reforms undertaken by the government.
He requested more patience for results of these reforms, although, according to him, the first effects are already visible.
“No operation is done overnight. The reforms require passion, patience and their own time. The truth is that in two years we have produced many results stations of encouragement to continue further. We are far from concluding this historic phase of reforms. But we are seeing direct results from today”, Rama declared.
The PM said there is still more to do, and that the government reforms, mainly in economy, will lay the foundations for a state that serves to citizens.
Rama mentioned agriculture, one of the government priorities. He said that next year they will start working to clean the irrigation and sewage canals in cooperation with the municipalities.
