The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, published part of the resolution
signed by the European Popular Parties, and the stance of the Democratic
Party, which is part of them.

“The European Popular Parties encourage all political forces to participate with the democratic processes inside the institutions of their respective countries, and focus on the structural reforms which their economy urgently needs. The EPP emphasizes the urgent need of Western Balkan countries to progress with the judiciary reform, the establishing of a rule of law, and an independent and transparent judiciary”, Rama writes on his profile, with the resolution linked to his post.

The resolution of the European Popular Parties for Western Balkan was voted yesterday in Malta.

The Democratic Party was represented by its leader, Lulzim Bahsa, who held a speech in front of the European right wing parties, and raised the opposition’s concerns for the next elections, and their request for a technical government.
