Rama: “Coalition with the SMI in 2017”

The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, has officially articulated an
invitation for coalition to the Socialist Movement for Integration,
before the elections of June 2017.
For Rama, this is a strategic coalition.
“Our purpose is strategic, not a matter of desires. Our strategic purpose is to be together with the SMI in a coalition”, Rama said.
Rama mentioned complaints coming from inside his party regarding this alliance.
“Many may say they are like this, they are like that, they ashamed us and caused us problems. This is strategic, friends. This has nothing to do with specific behaviors of their people or of our people. We must see this in a strategic plan. What did Albania benefit from this coalition?”, the PM declared.
Rama said he was convinced that the coalition will take place. “Of course we are not the best, but we don’t see anyone better”.
