Rama: Chinese company failed to provide security to airport. We’ll take over

After the robbery that took place yesterday in Tirana’s airport, the Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, reacted on Twitter by saying that the Chinese company which bought the concession have failed to provide security.

Rama said that the Airport will now go under the control of the Albanian state.

“The Chinese company that bought the airport failed the same way as the previous one to guarantee security. The Albanian government will refuse any justification and will take the perimeter under control”, Rama wrote.
