The Socialist Party Parliamentary Group met to discuss the budget 2018, which the Prime Minister considered “the first step for building the Albania we want”.
Rama says that the budget has a very important base.
“This draft budget is based exclusively on internal revenues, which is the base that strengthens the reforms. Reforms that we shall take forward with courage and determination, without artificial pressure from external debts”, Rama said.
The Prime Minister says that the budget invests on a further reinforcement of the state, increased employment, welfare and budget revenues.
“It has the biggest public investment package that has ever been realized. 86.1 billion, or more than 5% of the GDP”, Rama said.
The Prime Minister said that such a level of investments is unprecedented. According to him, the debt will keep getting lower.
