The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, is on a trip to the USA, where he attended a conference held by the USA-Israel Committee in Washington.
This was the only meeting announced by the Prime Minister’s Office. On Monday, Rama announced on his Facebook profile that he had visited the White House.
“A special surprise, the ceremony for receiving the Cultural Pluralism prize, handed over by the appointee of President Trump as Chairman of the Committee for Protection of the US Heritage in the World, Paul Packer”, Rama wrote on Facebook.
According to the Prime Minister, the prize was given for the commitment to preserve the memory of the holocaust and for defending historic truths.
