The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, spoke at the UN Assembly and focused specifically on the request that all countries should recognize the independence of Kosovo.
“Dear Serbia, Kosovo’s independence is an undeniable reality”, Rama said, adding that it is important for Kosovo to join all the regional and international organizations, as every other country of the world.
Rama added that it is an injustice that the citizens of Kosovo cannot travel visa-free. “It is unjust that 2 million people who have fought so much, are still isolated. Dear EU, stop this”, Rama said.
