PM Edi Rama appealed the EU in an interview for Newsweek that enlargement fatigue would influence peace in Balkan.
The American weekly newspaper focuses on how Edi Rama attracts the attention of international counterparts and the challenges his country has in Balkan.
In the last paragraph, the Prime Minister says that Europe should do more to welcome the Balkan countries.
“We have a peace in the region that we have never had before. We are not angels and never will be, but this peace is also due to the common aspiration for EU accession”, Rama declared.
The Prime Minister said that if Europe would continue to show fatigue for the enlargement, thy might see the region unpatient and Balkan will always be identified with blood sheds.
