The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, held a speech at the Global
Leader Woman summit in New york. He added that Albania is vanguard for
women participation in decision making.
“In every municipal council is made half of women, half of men. The representation of women in the Albanian Parliament has reached 21%”, Rama declared.
The Prime Minister added that Albania has undertaken important legal commitment to fight discrimination.
