After Transparency International published the corruption index for
2016, with Albania listed 83rd, with 39 points, PM Edi Rama reacted on
social networks and said this is an evaluation of the results coming
from his government’s deep reforms.
“There is still much to do, but the facts coming from an independent and international source show the first results of our deep state-forming reforms”, the Prime Minister says.
The PM adds that in three years of Socialist governing, Albania has improved its ranking with 33 spots. From 116 in 2013, to 83 in 2016.
Both Albania and Kosovo have improved their ranking, compared to one year ago.
