Rama: A new era for Balkan

The The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, said in an interview for the Serbian newspaper “Danas” that there is good will for establishing relations with Serbia in Albania. As for his visit in Belgrade, which has been postponed several times, Rama declared that he has accepted the invitation and he will visit Serbia.

Rama says that it is a new burden and responsibility to represent Albania in a new era, after the agreements between Kosovo and Serbia.

“What I think now are not the years that went by and what we haven’t done, but the years that lay in front of us”, Rama declared.

He spoke about integration, saying that the European Union is a vision. He didn’t forget the Albanians of the Presheva vallay, saying that their problems need to be resolved. Rama declared that Prime Ministers Hashim Thaci and Ivica Dacic deserve the Nobel prize.

He said that Kosovo is now independent and Serbia’s failure to recognize it is just a waste of time.
