The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, declared in a press release that today’s elections were a historic moment, which marked the victory of the future, hope and civility in Albania.
“It was the historical clash between the past ant the future; between the anti-state and the rule of law; between the impunity and justice; between the old Albania, with its historical ghosts, and the Albania of justice”, Rama said.
“It was a decent and righteous victory of the European Albania. It was a difficult victory, maybe the most difficult, because it was the democratic system against the opponents of elections”, Rama said.
