In his meetings in Tropoja and Has, Olldashi underlined the reinforcing of the party structure in order to find a balance, to open the party and motivate its membership.

“We must encourage the academic world here, in this room, so that it can become part of our structure, of the internal competition, because that’s how we increase our representation and quality, and that’s how we make a party with competition from within. This doesn’t mean that we will not bring new capacities from the civil and academic society, but we will have a balance that will not touch the quality of the structure. We are a balance point that allows us to make honest competition within the party, and that allows us to have a representation of quality in the highest political level of our party”, Olldashi declared.

Olldashi appealed the Democratic Party representatives in Has to stay united and allow a strong and decent opposition.

As for the meetings in Saranda and Delvina, Lulzim Basha underlined that an emergent priority is the establishing of a structure that will defend the administration from any eventual abuse of the new government.

“Our political action must start immediately. We will fight with all our means to protect the civil service from the upcoming retaliation by establishing special offices in the entire territory and identify every case of abuse. With the establishment of special legal groups, every one who will dare to undertake such steps will face the Albanian justice system”, Basha declared.

To assure the Democrats that he is the man they need to bring the Democratic Party in power, Basha mentioned the victory of the local elections in Tirana.

“I am fully convinced that together and based on the will and minds of every Democratic Party member and supporter, I will lead this party so that we can remove from power the Socialist leader, and turn him back to opposition”, Basha added.
