The academic Rexhep Qosja declared on “Fiks Fare” that the Albanian
Prime Minister, Sali Berisha, is an autocratic without authority that
brings anarchy with his requests to rewrite history. Qosja spoke about
the deformation of the Albanian history, and made a comparison between
the communist leader, Enver Hoxha, and Prime Minister Berisha.
“The history of Albania in these 100 years has many errors that have been caused by the foreigners and the Albanians themselves. Enver Hoxha was a communist. He wanted the present and the past. But he had principles in his request, despite the deformations. Enver Hoxha was authoritarian, but today’s leader is autocratic without authority. Berisha brings anarchy with his requests to review history. There is religions anarchy, social anarchy, patriotic anarchy and ideal anarchy. Albania’s present autocrat causes political and historic anarchy”, Qosja declared.
The well known academic criticized the Albanian people for bearing with Berisha’s regime, which, according to him, is not as powerful as it seems.
“Berisha’s long stay in power doesn’t say anything about his power, but about the weakness of the others, the Albanian people. I’m surprised that they have been bearing with him for so long”, Qosja declared.
He explained the reasons why the Science Academy of Albania has not invited him in the conference that they will organize for the 100th year of independence.
“The Academy of Sciences will hold a solemn conference for the 100th year of independence, where I am not invited, although the organizers required it. This didn’t trouble me. They haven’t invited me because the academy has not created the political, scientific and intellectual independence that this institution needs. Their leaders fear that the government will not be pleased by what I will say there”, Qosja declared.
The “Fiks Fare” journalists gave the “Fiks Fare Wheel” to the professor, who thanked them for it and praised the investigative program.
“Fiks Fare” is an institution, more than a program. Fiks Fare has helped Albania with its democratization and a series of state institutions. They have reported lies, deceits, corruption and for this reason this program and their hosts are real heroes. In congratulate the entire staff of “Fiks Fare” and wish them further success. I would like another Fiks Fare for Kosovo”, Qosja declared.
