Pupils will have one more week off in new academic year, according to Ministry of Education plan

Ministry of Education has approved the new structure for the academic year 2022-2023, which provides for one week more holidays than usual.

Minister of Education, Evis Kushi, in a post on social networks announced that for 9-year primary education there is a change in the number of days off after the second half.

“For students and teachers of 9-year primary education next year there will be one more week off after the second school period, from 3-9 April 2023. In these days students will rest but also play and have fun to get

new energies for the closing period, while teachers will have more time for their assessments and further preparations “, writes Kushi.

The new academic year starts on September 12, 2022 and end on June 14, 2023.
