The Prosecution Council voted for discharing the former Director of the
Pula Prosecution, Pellumb Pemci, who is being tried in Shkoder over a
scandal published one year ago by Top Channel’s program “Fiks Fare”.

The former Puka Chief Prosecutor has been suspended by the Prosecutor General. After the voting he was discharged.

During this day, the Prosecution’s Council collected the declaration of the Chief of Audit at the Prosecution General, Thoma Janko, whose name was mentioned by Premci as the man who had intervened for using illegal methods to resolve a case which then resulted into a justice scandal.

The press office says that the “Prosecution’s Council is on the phase of reviewing the data, based on which the General Prosecution official might have played the role of a negotiatior between the former Director of the Pula Prosecution and the defendant”, the Prosecution says.

The advisor of the Prosecution General, Albi Serani, said for the media that the conversation was made before the case was made public. The Puka scandal implicated the former President of the Puka Court, Shtjefen Lleshi, the secretary, prosecutors, lawyers and chancellors.
