Public recruits through competition

The government will open a competition for recruiting the public
administration employees. Deputy Prime Minister Niko Peleshi declared
that for the first time they are installing a system that makes way to
meritocracy.

“We want to tell to the Albanian public today, that starting from the next week, the Prime Minister will open a competition for the job vacancies at the Prime Ministry. These competitions will be an open public dimension, which will take place for the first time in Albania. The recruit practices should be for the first time different from the traditional ones. For the first time in Albania, the recruit will be made by the evaluation centers. The evaluation centers are those that enable meritocracy to prevail. The goal of these competitions will be clear: the Prime Ministry will be the center of excellence of the Albanian public administration. We invite everyone who is interested, who have been educated in Albania or abroad, who live here or in other countries, to come and give their contribution for the future of our country”, Peleshi declared.
