Senior citizens who frequent social centres are not alone during these holidays.
Many public administration institutions joined the appeal of the Tirana Municipality to offer a free meal for people in need.
This Thursday, the Financial Supervision Authority offered a holiday dinner for the citizens who frequent the Social Center at the “Zogu i Pare” Boulevard.
“Few institutions say they will stop thinking about themselves and offer a dinner to our social centres. This is why I want to thank them very much. The reason why I say this is because no one can make it alone. No matter how much a Mayor and a city can do for them, the need for more help is big. Projects are very complicated and it means that no one can make it alone. This is the reason why any project needs everyone to contribute”, Veliaj declared.
The Mayor appealed other institutions as well to join the effort.
