The Public Administration Department explained this Saturday the participation of public employees in electoral campaigns.
Director Albana Kociu said that anyone is allowed to be part of electoral campaigns outside working hours, while the usage of the institution for campaign is not allowed.
On the other hand, the government is preparing a decision which foresees establishing a special structure which will monitor the administration’s participation in the campaign.
There have been clashes between institutions and technical ministers, who gave orders to fire employees who they said had been participating in electoral gatherhings.
