A protest was organized in Shkoder and Kavaja today, where protesters blocked the main roads entering the city.
The protests continued for one hour, with the roads being blocked. The same situation was created in Lezha. The three municipalities in these cities are controlled by the Democratic Party.
The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, reacted on Twitter: “It is interesting how Municipality workers in Lezha protest as farmers; Municipality workers in Shkodra protest as drivers; and the municipality workers in Kavaja work as Frenchmen”, Rama said.
“Students must dialogue with us for their requests, but they should be kept away at any cost from the revolution of Lulzim Basha and Monika Kryemadhi”, Rama wrote on Twitter.
